    Description

    Very nice collection of oval hand turned fishing net floats. Found in a basket in a shed in Easthampton/Montauk area, undisturbed for who knows how long. Most likely gill net floats for herring, bunker or other small coastal species. Appear to be cedar and very old. Hemp rope that held the floats was rotted and the lead line was missing. Many decorative uses, you be the judge. Floats like this are really rare in such original condition. Contact me for any additional information.
